Can you confirm you're still experiencing the problem? The post says edited 3 hours ago. What's the actual error you're getting?

Can you be more specific? Is the connection timing out or are you getting an error message?

Drache October 13th, 2008 12:23

Timing out or sometimes it just simple tells me it can't connect to airsoftcanada.com

Then there are the database errors as well....

Mantelope October 13th, 2008 15:59

Timeout and most DB errors are because of the server or services on the server being disabled to run repairs and optimizations.

Thanks to KNIVEZS' post, I found the problem that he, Karnage and tycho were having, and I think I've fixed it.

If you guys get a specific error message at any point using the site, please copy and paste it into this thread or post a screenshot.

I can't edit my post in the game section.

When I do, the entire post dissapear. If I want to see it again, I have to reload the entire page, and the modifications are not showing.

Shirley October 13th, 2008 16:14

For the past hour, I couldn't connect to ASC, the problem is fixed now probably.

The edit saved it i didn't change anything and just clicked edit (hence the 3hr ago edit, nothing was actually changed), when I actually try to edit some of the text and click the edit button. The post disappears from my screen and none of the changes I made were saved.

bean October 13th, 2008 16:39

The timeout errors and database errors happen fairly frequently. When aas was moved off the server we rarely experience them now.

Double Tapper October 13th, 2008 16:46

When I was editing my post,I could type out what I wanted, but when I hit
save, the screen changed to a quick reply post,I checked my post and nothing
was changed.

Mantelope October 13th, 2008 17:17

Okay, this edit post thing seems to be a big thorn in my side. I'm gonna keep working on it, but rest assured I'm aware of the problem.

Skladfin October 13th, 2008 23:11

I keep getting two PMs when the other person only PMs me once

coach October 14th, 2008 19:16

I don't like how when you click back button (firefox 3.0.3) it doesn't remember the main index page position. It's annoying having to scroll down every time.

I don't believe there's much I can do to fix this... you should start using tabs instead.

it didn't do this before the move. I do use tabs but not for every time I want to open a different forum. Also, I tend to leave tabs for other web sites etc...
