Cadpat helmet
 

Anybody has a picture of a PASGT helmet with a cadpat cover like this one: http://www.sealsactiongear.com/catalog/store/89.htm

but without the helmet band?

Does it looks good or not? Cause I think canadian helmet aren't PASGT right?

Canadian army's helmets looks more like mitch helmets than pasgt.

The issued forces helmet is the CG634.

That's one of the cheap ABBS PASGT helmets with an issue CADPAT cover. Really hard to see well in the first pic because of the goggle strap and all and by the bad angle on the second pic. I'd take another pic, but don't have that helmet cover anymore. The only cover I have is on a real CF helmet. Too much of a pain in the ass to remove it.

Are PASGT and CG634 covers exchangable on each others' helmets? Both myself and another guy were wondering that, and asking here is better than creating a new thread.

A PASGT cover will fit a CG634, but it's not perfect, and vice versa. I used duct take inside my PASGT to hold the CG634 cover on it tightly. It worked though, and looked good.

Ok so I've just found out that a PASGT helmet cover won't fit properly on a MICH TC-2000. Anybody know where I could find a CADPAT helmet cover that will fit? Or even better, a CF CG634 helmet?

any local surplus store should have a canadian helmet with its cover on it.

for anywhere from 100 to 200$ though :(

Thats because there arnt any Reproductions (that I know of) of the CG634 helmet.

Okay, I'm getting fed up with googling. Where can I buy real CADPAT helmet cover that would fit MICH-helmets? Used or not I don't care. Not eBay, please. Place that would ship to Europe. Thank's in advance.

There's no 'proper' retailers of issued CADPAT kit...mostly because it's hard to get in any quantity. Check with Army Issue though, he might have some.

Cant you just get some cadpat fabric and stick it on? Carefully shape it and glue it.

If you want to fit the issued cadpat cover on a Mich, be sure that it does not have the pads inside and it's using the suspention. As the issued cadpat cover use plastic tabs that stick with friction inside a circular ring inside the helmet suspension.

I tried those cover on a old issued PASGT and it was a very loose fit. The elastic band helped keep it in place.

Gallet helmet (Canadian version of the MICH) are easy to find cheap if you look around. A lot of people have some to sell. Ask the right persone.
I got mine almost brand new with all covers, nets, and new suspention for 75$.
