TM m14 vs CA m14
I know this has probably been done befor but anyways when i finaly am able to get an airsoft gun or get my dad to get one under his name, is there any huge diference in the terms of acuracy in either moddle? the main reason is that i noticed that 007 airsoft didnt have the CA listed and that was my first choice thanks

Although i've never handled both I have owned the TM and its one kick ass AEG. Can't go wrong with that baby.
It does use a large typ battery corect? That besides the full metal part is my other main wory with geting an AEG
Yup it can house a large type. I don't know if you want the M14 to be full metal lol Its rather heavy as it is!
TM M14 is impressive. Great range and accuracy on stock. And upgraded is GOD
The TM takes the cake.

CA has a frankenmechbox TM FYW.

did you try checking A&A as well, they have TM, CA, & AGM m14s but, only the wood version is instock cause A&A is go to stop selling airsoft soon.
They're both good guns, TM being the better build as the CA is based off of the G&G. I own a CA and mechbox work is easy as pie and haven't had any reliability issues other then the trigger being sketchy and not always engaging to fire fully.
A huge factor with airsoft guns is replacement or upgrade parts, in that area CA cannot hold a candle to TM. I have owned a G&G and TM and have handled a CA, if you buy anything except for a TM you will be disappointed.

I agree, but take a look at this CA M14

Any gun can be upgraded to the tits, I'll take a TM ver.7 mechbox over some G&G/CA frankenbox anyday. Every single part in a TM M14 you can get replacements for either original or aftermarket, can you say the same about CA or G&G? They have too many proprietary parts that aftermarket parts manufacturers wont touch and the original manufacturers wont sell separately. |
Didn't mean to burst your bubble there. TM is great and all but what do you expect from a gun that was copied from shit. If it shoots as good as a TM and does what I want it to then how is there a problem? I can get anything I need to fix it if something breaks.
If I was to buy a new one i'd obviously go TM.. but for people who are looking for a more cost effective situation whats wrong with getting a cheaper used CA and spending a few dollars or even just a few man hours to get it working perfect. |
So basicaly TM better of the start but more $$ CA is cheeper but can be upgraded later to the same standared if i want to save in the begining?
Yep, pretty much. Though CA has a lot of proprietary parts, you don't really need to replace most of them anyways. And the good news is that CA is finally releasing locaps for the gun soon.
I currently own a TM M14 and it was shooting farther than my upgraded TM M4 S system with a Guarder 100 spring in it, as well as going farther more accuratly!
I personally want from a gun the availability of replacement parts if shit breaks i mean come on its airsoft not real steel. Or you can pull a dumbass move and try to fix Shit yourself like i did, long story short made a dumbass move and i can sleep tonight because the parts are available to fix it and in a matter of days working againe due to getting it fixed by a gun tech lol your call but if it were me spend the extra $ at first and you wont regret it! its a TM The Quality speaks for itself ~Ghost~ |
..What?
listen Neil. I was in your boat not too long ago. i couldn't decide between the two. go for TM. i did my research and i concluded that the TM was the better choice bar none. go for the TM and i promise you, that you will never look back except maybe at the stock color that you chose.
