RPK Barrel + Bipod
I'm working on converting my AK to an RPK but still need a barrel and a Bipod for it, anyone know a good place to get one/is selling them?
Your input appreciated! |
If you can find it Guarder makes a front barrel extension bipod. There is also a SRC knockoff of the same.
Inokatsu is also planning on releasing a full conversion kit for cheap (Barrel extension + Wood) sometime 2008 if you can wait. http://i204.photobucket.com/albums/b...parts_2610.jpg If you want you can also sometimes find real RPK bipods from sources like gunbroker or some of the online shops. Only downside is you'll have to find a longer outer barrel yourself. |
thanks, so it just screws on to the threads on the end of my gun?
Yes, extension kit just screws onto regular barrel. Real bipods need to be modified in order to fit the barrel. Btw, I compared r/s and Guarder bipods, looks like Guarder just buys r/s bipods and just drills holes for attachement to airsoft barrel.

anyone know where i could buy a Guarder Extension kit?
Hey Corbin did you ever find a guarder extension kit?
Not sure about the playing laws where you live, but at 16... why do you want parts for a gun you cant legally own?
well i'm not 16, I'm 21 in a couple of weeks so now back to the question please!
says your 16 on your profile...
on the Corbin's profile...
oh ok just said after my post so I thought he was talkin to me
So back to the topic anyone know where ya can get a guarder extension kit?
Huang has a full set (bipod, barrel, wood grips and stock) that I'm trying out. I'll post a review once I have it and install it.
I haven't seen any Guarder kits in ages, you might want to try the SRC one. AirsoftGlobal has some. |
Ya I was thinkin about getting Huang's full set but I already have the wood kit so I don't really want another one if I don't need to get it but we'll see after you get the review up. Thanks man I'll have a look at the src ones

Try PM'ing Jugglez or Illusion - they can usually get stuff in for you.
Still haven't found an extension kit but I'm going to message Juggles or Illusion to see if they can do anything for me since i already got the wood.
And in response to Greylocks, where i live its just me and a few friends and we play at my friends farm, so theres no age rules, I think its only in Ontario that you have to be 18 to own an airsoft gun but everywhere else it is 16 to own and 18 to buy, so pretty much parental consent. |
