Super Custom H&K MP5K-A4 (MP5K full stock)

H&K MP5K-A4

Description:
The MP5K-A4's front end can be field stripped by simply removing 1 allen screw. Once that is removed, the gun can be converted to a full size MP5A4 or MP5SD Series gun.

The reinforced cocking tube infrastructure is a machined metal backbone that extends all the way into the metal CA upper reciever. This infrastructure completely eliminates barrel wobble and even barrel flex. The gun can support it's weight when held horizontally by only the front end. Even with a battery in the stock, the front is so strong that it does not allow the gun to flex!

The gun's performance is built to be reliable and still have a high rof. Internals includes brand new TM gear set, piston and spring. Velocity is 295 fps. The Guarder ball bearing bushings allows the gears to spin naturally without lockups. This increases rof without stressing the motor.

Wow, I really dig how that looks. The pure black look is really slick.

Mysteryfish December 9th, 2005 00:58

It also wins for "most suppressable A4". It'd still be nice and short.

HGI December 9th, 2005 15:36

Quite odd looking thing.

I bet if it had the MP5K RIS forgrip it'd look a whole lot better.

Bob the Angry Potato December 9th, 2005 15:40

I like it...
I may try that sometime, or get someone else to.

I second that but still very nice

Relica Religia December 14th, 2005 05:45

Feh, MP5K RIS foregrips are overrated - THIS looks good.

Awesome work man, you did pretty much what I'm going to do with my MP5K.

Where / how did you pick up the CA upper receiver, and how did you end up attaching the stock? Those are two nagging questions I haven't been able to answer myself.

Zanzibarbarian December 14th, 2005 08:11

Very nice...a great CQB weapon for sure...especially with the foregrip (as mentioned) and perhaps a slither stock? Well done!

Xenos-Fear December 17th, 2005 01:48

Got a look of a spetnaz, but more beautiful ! More Cool ! Nice job man !

Lerch December 17th, 2005 04:33

I would love that with a retractable stock and a simple laser rig. It'd make an awesome CQB weapon then 8-)

yanhchan December 17th, 2005 06:06

hey what happend to the fire selector markings?

Droc December 17th, 2005 10:30

how exactly did you do that?
I have the MP5k PDW and was thinking about a full stock on it for a large battery.

can you put up a parts list?

rosie December 17th, 2005 16:34

Hey! I know where that foregrip came from!

It was from a Remington 870 shotty, I was going to try to slap it on my (Maruzen) CA870 and gave up.

Way to put it to good use Raygis! Thats pretty damn Çreative man!

Raygis LasVegas December 17th, 2005 19:57

Wow Rosie,

I think you're the only person who correctly identified the mysterious MP5K handguard.

Bob the Angry Potato December 17th, 2005 19:58

You know where to find one of those R870 handguards? That's a wicked mod-project, I think I'll try that sometime...

Yeah, but I gave it to you dude - unfair advantage.
None the less, I win!

I never would have thought of that, Where the *heck* did you get the idea from?

Come to think about it, it is about the same size, give or take...

I picked up a synthetic stock, pistol grip and forearm on a firearms classified online... Payed 40$ shipped, I believe...

Bob the Angry Potato December 17th, 2005 21:27

Wow... 40 bucks isn't bad. I think I'll get one sometime, anyways... I always found the MP5K quite ugly, but this isn't half bad.

HellRanger December 30th, 2005 13:19

I'm retracting my statement 'til I have a chance to fix some issues with Ray...

Raygis LasVegas December 30th, 2005 15:03

HellRanger,

I'm glad you enjoy my custom work. Please strictly follow the instructions on how to remove the MP5K's cocking tube:
http://www.pbase.com/mp5ka4_removal/...removal&page=1
It is important that you don't unscrew any other custom screws except for the "cocking tube removal screw".

Also, it is not necessary to tighten the "cocking tube removal screw" since it's job to to lock the cocking tube in place with the reciever and not close the two reciever halves.

The allen key I used to remove that screw is a 7/64. I believe it is in inches since the tool I used was bought in USA.
