looks sweet any canadian retailers getting them?

Hmm.... anyone guess if a longer tightbore + silencer to cover it up can be added to that thing?

Eddie January 27th, 2006 22:58

Im not sure if current AEP internals will work for it but if they don't you can expect a slew of laylax parts to come out for it. As for a silencer because the threading is recessed into the body a barrel extention will be needed.

Deffiently will be getting one though alot of people telling me to wait for the GBB version if it ever will be released. I cant help it. I fell in love with this gun rever since I first saw it on the H&K website.

bobthemonky January 27th, 2006 23:33

i heard that these guns will be banned after they come out what do you think?

I'm just wondering where you heard that?

It doesn't really make any sense; It's not a GBB so they can't tote realism so some anti-gun person can whine vs. a GBB, and it's not small either so it's not a 'concealable' weapon..

It's not firing at some ridiculous rof or at some super-hot fps.. So it's doubtful it could be banned on fields for that..

And it's a new design; TM wouldn't get their own gun banned, or at least try to..

one of my friends who sed quote "AEP's are banned from the start
there is a limit of 250fps to cause bodily carm therefore its dignified as a replica, therefore being banned"

ancorp January 27th, 2006 23:50

I smell BULLSHIT.
Almost all stock "good" AEGs are over 250fps.

Cheers,
Alex

? I don't get it... If AEP can shot at 250 FPS or over then and cause bodily harm what is the point using AEG that is going at 250 FPS and over?

In the future, please refrain from commenting on issues you have no clue about.

For one, ever tried getting ANY airsoft gun past customs regardless of how fast it shoots?

For two, put a 250 fps gun to your eye and pull the trigger. Still think it doesn't cause bodily harm?

For three, the MP7 shoots ~300 fps stock.

:smack:

SockMonkey January 28th, 2006 00:34

I think what he is confusing is the "cause bodily harm" clause. The gun has to be able to cause bodily harm and th emagic number here is 407 FPS or somthing close to that. thats how any one can import airsoft tho i admit to being a coward and not wanting to risk it.

Captain Tenneal January 28th, 2006 01:02

I have big doubts that they'd ban this gun, likewise I doubt this thing's gonna fire anywhere near 300 fps. (I just don't think a gun using a 7.2v battery with a toted 850 rpm rate of fire is going to shoot 300 fps, 250 maybe but not 300).

Not to mention: Tokyo Marui is not that stupid to make a gun for their OWN MARKET just so it can get banned (and besides: Most stock AEG fire close to the 300 fps mark, can be EASILLY upgraded beyond it, and the VSR-10 has a toted 300+ fps from its stock format)

Are you trying to say that the issue here is it being banned in Japan? Cause the bodily harm issue is a Canadian one, they dont have any problems in Japan. However why would you believe its going to get banned anyways, cause some guy said so? ;)

the_griffinator January 28th, 2006 11:53

does anyone have any idea why the trigger is split like that? is it a glock style safety?
