I've tried some of these gloves with the buck shot when Army Issue had (maybe still has) them but they felt a little awkward and a bit heavy for gloves.

I really like my Oakley's but over time they do wear out and don't have much grip left. They also got a good soaking at one game and the leather became stiff and lost all tactile grip. The last couple of times wearing them, the black dye started to run.

What's a good glove for winter use?

I've been using North Face gloves for winter, been working out good for me so far.
