Is there no affordable way to puchase guns without having to hope that customs doesn't have a strong enough itch to check your package.

I think someone in a similar thread in the FAQ section said that it involved a lot of teflon and placing the gun somewhere VERY uncomfortable...

To be honest, looking locally or checking the clasifieds once age verification has gone through is the cheapest, safest way. I'm not verified yet, but I'll vouch for the system.

dont order from EVIKE.COM they will screw you guys over. they'll take you money then they'll say its back order or they'll send you guys the wrong parts. They did it to me and a whole bunch of people. You can even google it "evike on back orders", youll see a whole bunch of people complaining. They didnt have the orings for my mag, so they sent me the wrong one a huge one, because they dont wanna do a refund. They think people are stupid. Karma will bite their ass

I placed an order through evike. Not only did it take a month and a half to get here, but they sent me the wrong parts and they won't give me my money back until I pay for return shipping and sender shipping. ($80 us).

This means a 4/5 scale gun would be a replica, but a 1/3 or 1/4 scale would not. That's why you see them at Crappy Tire and Wal-Mart. They've done their research on this I assure you.

Red tip means nothing officially, as a red tip could be applied to a real gun. But if a cop says it should have one, who are we to argue?

Yea but even if its clear you still can get it seized.

BTW there's also anothe choice, have it upgrade into the category uncontrolled firearms.

Never buy from Evike should just be stickied at the top of the newbie forum. Evike is decent if you are in the U.S.

Otherwise, avoid like the plague.
