Sid, as a Brit and also in the military I'd say you've done a good job :)

Don't fret so much about blousing the trousers and beard. Out on ops I have only ever seen trouser twists used in barracks (IE Bastion/Kandahar). When out in the field the vast majority will not use twists as the strings are there in the bottom of the legs for that purpose. Personally I don't blouse the legs when in the field.

As has been said the wearing of beards is permitted when out on ops where water is more important to be consumed than used for shaving. Not only that but a beard is seen as a good thing within the Afghan culture.

The one thing I would say is definitely wrong is the way that the flag is shown as they are "upside down".

Other than that a cracking job, well done :)

thank you sir! sorry about the flag, atleast i know now how it should be properly shown. :) i think i know now how we messed it up. we were facing the other way and had the flag correctly, but the background had a hut that did not look good if the cameraman would have taken the pic. so he asked us if we could face the other way and he changed his angle, and we did. but the flag was facing the same way as we turned 180 degree. :)

Good job, but don't you think that the "BBs" you are using are a bit too heavy? ;)

That looks awesome.
Love the old style helmets.

I was almost going to say" Five rounds rapid at the advancing shrubbery"
But with the Denisons that would not have been apropriate.
How is the Ares SLR working out for you?

5224 February 19th, 2012 05:53

Have only testfired it once as games with this kind of gear is rare (we had one yearly when I started collecting this gear, "Bloody sunday" series but not heard anything from them the last years), and as a single fire weapon it's usefullnes are limited.
But when I tested it out I was very pleased, it's in stock condition except for steel outer barrel.
A pic of the rifle on its own:

Where did you find a steel outer barrel?
Re semi only:
There is a selector switch that you can install that seems to make it go rock 'n' roll.

The barrel came from here:

Okok, any more info on this? Where to buy etc?

Porkchop December 11th, 2012 22:52

Looks great.

Hey everyone, Fred(dy) Mercury has joined the Mob!!!

Pusser kit. You could use an L85 / SA80.
In the early 1990s not everyone had the new PLCE webbing yet.

Au cas, que tu cherche quelque chose de pas trop exigeant, regardes ca:
