My order from ATF has been stuck in customs for 2 weeks now... Really defeats the purpose of their expansive next AM shipping.

Boyso March 26th, 2012 12:36

Yeah I used the regular shipping and it was here within a week :/

COL.TIKER March 26th, 2012 12:39

Did you use UPS? They charge quite a bit for their customs fees, but atleast they are fast about it...

Boyso March 26th, 2012 12:40

Nooo, I emailed them twice to confirm USPS. Shipping was 35$ for a uniform, but no customs, and quite fast.

COL.TIKER March 26th, 2012 13:38

Just my bad luck then.

Never pay for next day shipping because the Vendor can send it the next day but once it's gone they can't control what happens when it gets to our border or our postal service. If you used UPS then be prepared to give up one of your nuts to pay for the custom fees! Hate UPS!!!

Boyso March 26th, 2012 17:58

Yeah UPS got me twice, and I swear not to use them anymore.

COL.TIKER April 10th, 2012 09:26

I can't believe my package is still in customs... I contacted Canadapost and they gave me a number to contact customs. I contacted customs and they told me to ask Canadapost.

Boyso April 10th, 2012 09:35

Wow.

Yeah that's really weird.

ts10z April 10th, 2012 10:07

Yeah, that really sucks. I have ran into that before. As the buyer you legally dont even have the right to information on items being shipped to you, customs considers you a third party. I had an item seized by customs and had to appeal it to the district director before I got it back, and all along the process was told I as the buyer had no legal rights but was criminally liable for what was being brought into the country. They wouldnt even let me appeal the seizure, only the seler and the importer/shipper (2 guys who had already been paid for the transaction and were as far as they were concerned done with it) could initiate the appeal. Maybe you might wanna get them involved, seeing as how you havnt received anything then they are still responsible for it.

COL.TIKER April 10th, 2012 10:51

If something is seized, they would send you a letter saying they seized it right? I have not recieved any information from customs nor Canadapost.

Gato April 10th, 2012 13:19

Bought some stuff from ATF before, never any issues, always satisfied.

I have had non airsoft items in CP / CBSA Limbo for over 3 months on several occasions. Last time it was a baseball cap that went into limbo. Item was ordered and shipped from the USA in the spring and arrived at my doorstep in the autumn. Package was never opened. I had practically forgotten that I had ordered it.

chadcushway April 10th, 2012 13:40

I have purchased lots from ATF. Everything that I have ordered has been of decent quality.
