yes.. the website is now back up.. but it was down a little earlier in the week..

This smells more shady to me as each week passes. This thread is what 1, 2 months old? A week ago you said you paid for the thompson as it was ready, I know Canada Post is slow and all, but GTA to GTA doesnt take a week to ship.....

Has there been any more updates on this?

Hmm... I have yet to pay for the Thompson. Re-read one of my previous posts.

Adam contacted me to let me know why there was a delay due to an emergency trip out of town that put him behind schedule. Said it will be shipped next week. That was said on the 25th.

But if he said 2 weeks ago it be ready in 2 weeks, and just needs a few more days due to that trip, you'd think that it should be almost completed no?

Well, I don't know how long the trip was, but yeah, it should be pretty close to being finished. We'll see how it goes.

Just sent an email a couple mins ago asking Adam for pics, and he already replied, a coat of paint is drying right now, I will receive a pic of it once it dries, later this afternoon.

Yeap its a model. Remember those pics I posted that he sent me of his previous work? He said it takes a lot of finishing and painting to make it look as realistic as that.

Once again, I'ma sit back, relax, and wait for results on Adam's end. I suggest you do the same.

I work on orders in the order they come in. Rainer's order was the last one to come in.

It's still in its early stages, still needs the trigger/front sight/cocking handle. Needs to be fully painted and both the metal and wood to be detailed. Barrel is all metal.

Still 2 months is a damn long time for a wall hanger.......... I could shit one out faster.

If it was an operational AEG ancorp I could understand the delays getting all the parts and such in due to the current hassels everyone is having.
But a model....... damn you have more patience then I do, and I'm pretty patient on things as it is.... well except for when I see a gun I want then I'm all over it like a fat kid at Willy Wokna's Factory.

That was for the assumption that I paid. Key words "right when the Thompson was ready". Since its not ready as we all know, then I of course have not paid yet.

i just don't feel its worthwhile to get our hopes up on this. even if this guy is 100% ligit he is still making non firing model guns, and to my understanding that makes them replicas. replicas that are in the black area of the law, the black are that say they are illegal. so IMHO if this isn't a scam, its still illegal. Also for airsoft PR if this guy gets raided, then wouldn't that tie us to clearly illegal practices? (100000 x worse then stupid kids with crapsoft)

Well I'd say that actions pretty much speak here, multiple promises for delivery times failed, multiple excuses for new dates.

Safe to say, I'd never give them any money.

It's quite upsetting that they could not deliver.. Depending on the quality I'm sure that many people here would want to pick something up. I know that I was one of them, to figure out how well these things would work.

Its not like I said its not coming, its just being delayed for a while... who knows.

Lets keep this as is for now. Hopefully he'll reply sometime soon to give me an update as always.

yes it is unfortunate, but so what if it even does come, takes them several months to make one model and not even an airsoft one( it isnt an airsoft one is it? ), that is way to long as the amount of buisness theyd get would be overwhelming if it was of good quality

I, personally, don't think these guys were out to scam people. They ran with an idea that was unfeasible. It happens. I've got numerous projects at home that I started with the best of intentions, but turned to shit halfway through to completion due to unforeseen complications.

Agreed. The way the communication went, his personal life and job really cut into his new business. I hope he replies someday.

But nothing was lost (except the time to check this thread) so what he/we do wrong? In this case it was better to have tried at least to get these incredibly rare guns, like the STG44, even though the chances were low that it would happen

I've got to agree with Koopa.. No money changed hands, and we aren't any further back from where we started. We actually found out that there is the potential to make a weapon out of the materials that were previously discussed.

It's just too bad they couldn't get the final product out up until this point. (There is always a chance that they could get things figured out, stranger things have happened...)
