2 other noob questions
-whats the major difference between .12 and .2? My buddy bought a crapload of .12s and they seem ok for what we use them for at the moment which is just fucking around in the back yard or whatever -2nd question. I bought a shitty little Crosman pistol at CT and I think it has too much backspin on it but it doesn't seem to have an adjustable hop up. It goes straight for about 20 feet then just flies straight up. Is there a simple fix to this? Is there some easy shit I can do to this "gun" to get a bit more power out of it when I'm sitting in the back yard shooting cans? |

Nobody who actually plays airsoft seriously outdoors uses .12s since they don't shoot straight and just fly off in random directions. .12s will be okay in some CQB indoor situations. |

Yeah I only found one place in town that sells .2s and they're only $10 more for the 5000 box so I guess its worth it

the worst shot = tip of your wang.
the best shot = in the googles. TICK! Hit with no pain. |
Buy BB Bastards... plain and simple.... cheap BB's do bad things to expensive guns...

worst shot I have ever had was up my right nostril... damn BB curved just right. I actually had to farmers blow the thing out lol.
Lucky it was when I first started and we were just messing around with .12g. Would not want to take a .25g at 320fps up the nose. that sting...... |

if I sneeze and BB's come out of my nose, does that mean I got airsoft on the brain?

One of the biggest problems with masks is that you can't get a good cheek weld with them at all. Now softer solutions like balaclavas or neoprene masks take care of that problem, but they have their own problems, mainly they're hot as hell. Personally I don't bother. No one in my group would purposely aim for the face and protecting against the occasonal hit isn't worth the inconvience of a mask.
Gloves on the other hand are definitely a good investment. Not only do they protect against bb hits but if you take a spill they'll protect your palms as well. Kneepads are also a good investment. When you suddenly start taking fire, it's great to be able to drop to your knees behind the nearest cover without worrying about what's underneath you. |
Meh. I've been shot in the face allot of times... it's just a part of the game... so it hurts but you get over it and keep playing.

A Team mate of owers lost a few teeth so I'm not gona say what hurts more,I got over the pain of my hands being hit,but he's out a few teeth ! it was an outdoor game and they were only less then ten feet away from each other at about 400fps,ouch!
