The G3 SAS is a WELLFIRE. Not much to say about it. You got what you pay for. It's not mine, i'm just doing the upgrades and paintjob.

Indeed, that a good idea, I should add a Lewis or Lois tab with it, it looks like canvas fabric! hehe nice job.

Anyway, in time, I will try to fit the full folding stock of the G36 to my SIG.

I wish someone made a replacement handguard for the SIG....probably by far the least quality feeling part of the gun....with someone make an airsoft version of the RIS kit that I've seen for the real 552....

Indeed. The handguard is the weakest point of this AEG. I saw the Carrot handguard conversion kit, hard to get one and the price is a wee bit high for that kind of part. But I don't know if it's a better grade than the stock.

Maybe a SIG 552 -> 556 will come up.

I thought 556 will be closer in size to a 551.....

And I don't believe the RS handguard will work, the compartment under the handguard on the AS one is designed for battery holding, the real one without that concern might have different molding/ribs to make it stiffer...

Actually, the battery goes in the upper part of the handguard. But you're right RacingManiac. I really don't think they are compatible.
