You can spend $250 and get a cyma. Then spend more money down the road to fix it when it breaks, or you can spend an extra $100 and get an LCT... which is the best brand of electric AK hands down..

it's winter; what is the hurry? Save your money and get the LCT.

Ahhh this old idea. Save your money and LCT or real sword. As for the term best. Depends what you are looking for. Classic AK? Full or folding stock? Long battery life? Rails? No rails?
APS=A Peice of Shit.

I will echo the call for LCT over CYMA, given the time to save to come up with the difference before the start of season 2014, April'ish.

Amazing build quality and finish - CYMA can't hold a candle to LCT - but to be expected when comparing an entry level purchase to a mid-high grade purchase. There lies the $$ difference.

I have 4 CYMA AK's now... although i upgraded the hell out of them (so much so they can't really be called a CYMA anymore really) they are still great out of the box.

They offer a solid starting platform with great 'pre-upgraded' internals such as

- metal bearing spring guide
- Steel Gears
- High torque motors (usually a Neo magnet motor)
- 6.04 TB inner barrels
- One piece full metal hop-up
- Steel bushings

All of mine were full metal with real wood (i know the wood quality sucks but i refinished all of mine and they turned out pretty cool looking)

I love sanding down the bodies and distressing the hell out of them.. they end up looking like old battle hardened AK's man and that looks cool to everybody who sees me with one of my AK's..

No doubt LCT is amazing.. but are you really going sand the body down of an expensive gun like that? Or screw with the internals?

I guess it's all up to what you want to do with it.. im a gun tech so everything i own gets taken apart and rebuilt to be even better than most higher end (LCT equivalent) guns.
