Does anyone know why WGC has the G&G G2010 listed as discontinued?

I wouldn't worry about it too much, G&G apparently got the official FN trades so it should be in production for a while.

Also, it's a G&G so the gears will probably be as strong as laminated cardboard.

The gears are machined...next time try not to speculate because your hating, give the guy some useful information not opinions and filler.

Being machined is not a good indication of quality. Machining crap metal gears will not make them strong. My speculation and opinions consist on hands on experience with with several sets of G&G gears which the sector and spur gears strip in low 400ish FPS setup at stock speeds. The gears in their high end guns such as the M14 EBR also strip in normal setups. I can run stock Chinese XYT gears at 400ish FPS @ 30+RPS and they hold up just fine. Their bevel gears are good though, even better than XYTs, I'll give G&G that much. So lemme correct myself:It's a G&G so the Sector and spur gears will probably be as strong as laminated cardboard.

So to paraphrase: Before u give ppl shit for hating your brand, it would be helpful if you gave the OP useful information and not opinions and filler.

Very cheap metal can't be machined.

Edit : well finnaly it can, if it's smooth enought... sorry, my bad !

I'm not sure what the "max" means, but I have the g2010, and it is honestly my favorite gun. get the gearbox out in a minute, open it up in another. Hopup is good, and holds its setting well, stock performance is very good, and it's a nice gun to hold. I get compliments all the time about how quiet it is, and the stock gears should stand up to everything a "normal" user can put it through.

Two big "flaws" and 1 minor are that since there isn't a bolt going through the gearbox (it's held by friction), if you upgrade the motor, it will shift the gearbox backwards, losing contact between the trigger "rod" and the trigger contacts, causing weird things to happen on auto. I haven't had the second problem, but the cutoff lever can get stuck, because there is a flat edge there, so some people file it to a corner or smooth it out. Apparently if it gets stuck you can hit the side of the gun to free it. The "minor problem" is that it doesn't accept normal mids.So far I've tried G&P (doesn't work without mods), mag vn magazines (needs mod), and green label short pmags (only ones to work without mods for me so far).

It's an easy fix, so I don't think it should be a major determinant for buying the gun. The first problem can be solved by adding a "buffer" behind the gearbox, and I haven't experienced the second.
