:D It's in-stock at many Canadian retailers! I advise you to get the Navy version if you want the latest version of fixes.

I'm still have some issues with gas efficiency. So far the gun is stock. Only thing I've added is the crusader chamber lip and also added crusader bolt guides. I was going to replace the piston cylinder to a aluminum one soon as well as change the recoil spring to a stronger one. Anything else i can do?

Take it apart, and you will know. Version 1 hop-up has no nub to press the hop-up down, it has strictly an arm applying pressure on the hop-up rubber. Where as version 2 has an arm + rubber nub to apply pressure to the hop-up rubber.

Mine is version 1 actually. But i couldn't find any picture or website which show the rubber nub as you said. if there's any picture you could get about the rubber nub, please let me know.
Thanks

Run it in stock first, get use to the gun then change on what u wanna improve

My gun is stock except the 120% spring from angry gun

U just need to tune and lube the nozzle and bolt, it will run like an angel

Since I get back from a collector to a weekend warrior, using the vfc mp5, game and fine tune couple of time , now is working like a champ even having a extreme smooth in full auto. The tricky parts is between vfc nozzle and original hop up set, with the bolt guide is a must too. Make sure the head of the nozzle is just right fit into the hop up set but not too tight. With the azi loading ramp, keep the mag in place and minimize wobbling and maximize gas consumption in no leakage. I also us metal piece and screw to reinforce the empty bolt lock function. That's last longer though.

the last part of my MP5 is to make a bolt lock

thanks N Force, it is interesting idea, awesome custom made bolt lock!

I will see if I can do it by myself lol

Sequential May 11th, 2014 02:49

Nicely done N-Force!
Seems like a good solution for the bolt stop, hopefully that little screw inside the nozzle won't make it snap so easy!

N_Force May 11th, 2014 12:47

I had one game using this Azi nozzle (clear one) with screw inserted was working just fine for the whole day. You can see the screw push in a bit but still stay there. It may not last forever but for sure longer. the impact are now on the nozzle that we still have to replace it once in a while. The bottom assemble one, I applied a bit jb weld in it to fill the space between thread. Works even better. Also I suggest not using 130% spring rod, I keep the original spring to minimize the impact on both nozzle and mag bolt stop. the last pic show the latest VFC nozzle that also insert a screw, the material seems better than Azi one. I haven't seen any deform yet after time to time shooting. The last, if you can make a good contact modify on nozzle head to keep it a smooth sticky touch within hop up set, your auto firing would be smooth like heal with no gas leak from the eject port. Difference VFC nozzles may have difference result of modify. Try to just insert in by hand you will feel it. If it is loose(leaking power), that is no good at all!
